Understanding your tax obligation in the UK and China as an expatriate living abroad is not always as straightforward as one might assume. LehmanBrown International Accountants in association with Bluestar AMG would like to invite you to attend a free seminar at the exclusive Beijing Capital Club to demystify and address the key tax issues affecting both UK and China nationals living in either the UK or China.
For the expatriates living in the People’s Republic of China, we will explain the current tax climate here in the PRC as well as addressing the UK tax system and its impact on British non domiciles. Within these areas, we will present best practice points for the NEW Individual Income Tax (IIT) law in China, and planning opportunities.
For UK nationals returning or Chinese or other nationals seeking to invest into the UK, the seminar will cover residency tests, when taxes become payable, what the taxes are on investments, and in particular UK tax linked with buying a property in the name of an individual, company or trust.
