Managing Partner Russell Brown has been interviewed by ‘Eurobiz’ Magazine.
Managing partner Russell Brown has provided an interview to ‘Eurobiz’, the journal produced by the European Union Chamber of Commerce in China. The topic of the interview was the challenges that currently face SMEs in China.
Russell emphasised that in a “continually changing regulatory environment” SMEs can face significant challenges with compliance; “compliance is always an issue, so it’s key to work with the right partners for handling matters such as setting up your China entity, structuring it appropriately and making sure it’s both tax compliant and efficient”.
Russell also provided comment on sector specific challenges facing SMEs, again citing a volatile regulatory environment, specifically the “uneven playing field” which exists between local and foreign enterprises.
