LehmanBrown win CRCC Asia’s Key Partnership Award

On Thursday April 9th, CRCC Asia Beijing hosted its Annual Host Company Appreciation Awards at the Renaissance Hotel in the Shuangjing area of Beijing. Attended by 70 guests from 50 companies, the 9 award categories this year were Key Partnership, Project Innovation, Intern Integration, Most CRCC Asia Interns 2014, Best Intern Feedback, Best Intern Training Program, Best Supervisor, Cultural Immersion and Intern Retention.

The excitement peaked as winners were announced and LehmanBrown International Accountants were delighted to win the award for ‘Key Partnership’. With over 3 years of partnership with CRCC, LehmanBrown have been able to provide opportunities to young future professionals visiting China on internships. We have always been impressed with the quality of candidates provided to us and would hope that anyone undertaking an internship at LehmanBrown would gain an invaluable professional experience working within our firm, whether in the marketing department or other service areas of the business. Our Director of Marketing & Communications, Kiran Patel, who was previously recipient of the Best Supervisor award in 2013 received the award on behalf of LehmanBrown and had the following to say. “As professionals, we have most likely taken work experience placements and internships at some point that either met or fell below our expectations. We take very seriously the commitment to providing an internship at LehmanBrown that provides a quality experience, both personally and professionally and are proud to be recognized with this award.”

CRCC interns as well as getting experience working in one of China’s leading professional service firms, also have an opportunity through LehmanBrown to support community events and charity fundraisers, gaining experience in event management and planning. The British Ball, one of Beijing’s largest community events is one such project. With the support of CRCC interns who have played an active role for the past 2 years with planning and work on the night, we have been able to run the event much more efficiently. Voluntary work combined with tangible experience in a professional environment is proven to enhance employability. LehmanBrown are looking forward to assisting CRCC interns in the future to gain such experience and build an appropriate platform for a successful career, whether that is with LehmanBrown in one of our locations, or elsewhere.
