LehmanBrown had the pleasure of sponsoring the two British Day events organised by the British Chamber of Commerce. The Guangzhou event was held first on the 20th of November 2021 at the Shangri-La Hotel grounds, while Shenzhen’s was held at the Hilton Nanhai hotel on the 27th of November. Both events had a fantastic turnout, with families and friends gathering to enjoy the many activities of the day.

As the events’ theme was ‘A Date with Britain’, people could enjoy the incredible Scottish bagpipes performance, live band, and school performances, with children playing the many games that booths’ had to offer. Families participated in parent-child activities, such as the Tug of War, Crazy Hat Competition, Sports Travel Around the UK, and many more games. Parents later took a break catching up over the many refreshments on offer while children continued playing amongst themselves.

There were many different kinds of booths to visit, including LehmanBrown’s, where kids could win cute fluffy toys based on the Chinese zodiac by participating in an exciting game of table-top chess. At the same time, LehmanBrown’s professional team provided advice to parents on a wide range of topics regarding the China market, including how to improve business structures, the importance of tax planning for expats and tax restructuring for the coming year.
