Members of the LehmanBrown team attended the 2015 SEC Accounting and Reporting Updates Conference in Shanghai. The learning objective of the conference was to update financial executives on important US financial reporting topics with a special focus on issues that affect Chinese and other Asia based companies. LehmanBrown was very active at the conference with Partner Jean Kester giving two presentations on the accounting updates. Jean spoke about corporate government best practices and the role of audit, as well as the recent accounting updates from FASB and IFRS.

LehmanBrown also maintained a booth at the conference to answer questions about the firm and provide additional visibility at the prestigious event. This event is also the first in which LehmanBrown has used its new informational brochure, updated to most accurately reflect the company’s skills and services. Overall the event was a great success for LehmanBrown and the LehmanBrown team looks forward to their next event.
