HR manager–Grace Zhang was interviewed by the Australian National University in the “Dialogue with Professionals” session on 29 August 2018. She gave professional advice on the employment context in China, the recruitment process of LehmanBrown International Accountants, and how to optimize resume and interview skills.

Grace stated that the problems for returnees regarding self-orientation, career planning, and job-hunting direction are deepening. While domestic enterprises are developing rapidly, the demand for returnees from abroad is increasing year by year. Simultaneously, various rich domestic policies are encouraging students abroad to come back to China to work.

After a brief introduction to the recruitment process and corporate culture of LehmanBrown International Accountants, Grace put forward suggestions and guidance on resume production and interview skills based on her own practical experience. She also pointed out that the first job of new graduates should be in line with their actual needs and the needs of the labour market. They should formulate career plans that are suitable for them and pursue goal-directed action. It also should be noticed that continuous learning and steady growth in the workplace are necessary.

Ms. Grace Zhang is currently the HR Manager of LehmanBrown International Accountants and an MBA student. She has 15 years of extensive experience concerning internal operation management, strategic planning, and practical operation of human resources in foreign enterprises. At present, she is in charge of internal human resources management and customer human resources consulting services.
