On Friday the 7th August 2015, LehmanBrown International Accountants in association with Standard Chartered Bank gave a comprehensive guide to ‘Establishing your Business in China’ at the Vantone Business Centre, Beijing. During this seminar, LehmanBrown’s Dickson Leung and Tianyao Yang gave valuable, China specific information on; Compliance, Corporate Tax, Cross Border Tax, VAT and Import Duties, FX regulations and Transfer Pricing Payments.

The four hour seminar was initially introduced by Evonne Fu from Standard Chartered Bank, following this Tianyao Yang from LehmanBrown International Accountants discussed Tax Considerations for FIE’s in China. Dickson Leung, LehmanBrown, then talked about setting up your business and compliance considerations in China, after which, Standard Chartered Bank gave valuable information on Foreign Exchange Strategies and Trade Services. To finish the event, Mina Lim from Vantone Commercial Center talked about Office Solutions in Real Estate and Virtual Office Support.

Among the attendees were entrepreneurs looking to start up a new business in China as well as senior members of well-established multinational enterprises. The Business Forum was very well attended, with small to large businesses gaining valuable information to take away and put into practice.
