St George's Day Celebrations 2009
After slaying the infamous dragon, St George came to symbolise chivalry and valor - traits, which are now synonymous characteristics of England herself. To show that the English spirit of intrepidity and generosity is still alive, join us for this inaugural St George's Day charity evening.
Kick-starting the evening will be a Gin & Tonic reception, which will be followed by a sumptuous seven-course dinner of traditional English fare and accompanied by free-flowing wines.
To top off the night there will be a stint of good old English comedy brought to us by Tim Clark of London's Punchline Comedy Club. Tim is one of the brightest lights on the London comedy scene and is a familiar face on television.
The Guardian newspaper recently bill Tim as 'Britain's Best Compere' and guarantees barrels of laughter for all.
