LehmanBrown Announces "Crisis Preparedness for Managers in China" Seminars, slated for week of November 21st in Beijing

(Beijing) International accounting firm LehmanBrown will sponsor two 1.5 day seminars for senior managers in China entitled, "Crisis Preparedness for Managers in China."

Designed to provide local managers with a detailed look at what is involved in preparing for and responding to a crisis, the seminars are scheduled for the week of November 21, 2002 and will be held at the China World Hotel in Beijing. The Beijing seminars have been specially developed to assist managers in preparing cross-functional teams to handle crisis situations in China. Registered participants who complete the seminar also receive a certificate providing them complimentary access to an advanced, online "Crisis Preparedness" course.

According to Russell Brown, managing partner of Lehman-Brown Beijing, "This is exactly what managers need - practical advice on real issues that impact their bottom-line. We are delighted to sponsor these seminars. Our clients, both international and domestic, are increasingly concerned about responding effectively to crises - the key is preparation. These seminars provide excellent preparation for the unique crisis environment which managers in China must address," he stressed.

Each crisis preparedness seminar is 1.5 days in length and addresses the needs of general managers, line managers, HR directors, controllers and financial officers, marketing directors and public relations directors. The format of the seminars is "highly hands-on and interactive" according to Brown and "will leave no doubt in the minds of participants as to what a crisis is actually like and what it will take to respond effectively."

"Crisis Preparedness for Managers in China" will be led by David Chard, president of international crisis preparedness firm, Crisis Consultants Group Worldwide (www.crisisteams.com), based in the USA. CCG is a leader in the development of web-based crisis training and highly acclaimed for its on-site crisis simulations which use "Action Learning" coaching methodologies to develop high-performance crisis teams.
